At Unlock, I finally let the cat out of the bag — or rather, put the dummy on the table. 📖

Introducing the next title in the GRAFFITI BLACKBOOKS series — Round 2, and we're going big again: none other than SMASH137!

When putting together the shortlist for this series, SMASH137 was an obvious choice from the start. Beyond his pieces, he's long been celebrated for his sketches — works that often stand entirely on their own as art.

This book will be a different beast from the BATES volume. Rather than showcasing a curated selection of original painted sketches, we're documenting his evolution in stylewriting chronologically — 30 years of development, all in one place.

Where we're at right now: nearly 1,000 sketches scanned and catalogued. The next challenge is selecting the most compelling sketches and shaping them into a cohesive concept. Release is planned for late November — and there's still a lot of (very exciting) work ahead.
